At Wisdom, we believe that there are more options than IVF, and love helping our members use a natural approach for optimal fertility.

There are 4 main categories that we focus on with regards to pregnancy preparation:

✔ Balancing hormones (sex hormones, thyroid, insulin): 

According to recent research, approprimately 80% of women experience hormone imbalances - many of which go undiagnosed. Hormone testing and genetic analysis allows us to better understand which imbalances are present and what’s causing them, and therefore how to effectively address them to bring them back into balance.

✔ Detoxing exogenous substances that can interfere with your ability to get pregnant: 

Due to the overlap between issues with hormone detox and environmental toxin detox, it is very common to see elevated levels of toxins in women who also have hormone imbalances. This can be further compounded by the hormonal disruption that many toxins cause (we call these “endocrine disruptors”). We have to be especially careful not to detox during pregnancy as it poses a risk of passing toxins to the fetus, so we always work on supporting detox pathways BEFORE conception to optimize your health.

✔ Support nutrient status: 

Pregnancy places a very high demand on the mother’s system and nutrient reserves. By testing nutrient levels and ensuring all nutrient levels are optimal through diet and supplementation where needed, we increase the likelihood of a healthy pregnancy, lower levels of postpartum depression, and much easier recovery postpartum.

✔ Sperm health:

This is often overlooked in conventional medicine and the onus to be healthy is placed solely on the woman, however, health of the sperm is equally important! The same rules of nutrient status, detox support, and hormone balance apply to the male to ensure optimal sperm health.
