Overview
I am a board-certified Naturopathic Physician, Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Licensed Acupuncturist from the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut. I did my residency under Dr. Peter D’Adamo at the Center of Excellence in Generative Medicine, who is best known for pioneering the Blood Type Diet. My background in engineering helps me map out disease patterns, identify exactly where the issues lie, and methodically work through steps to treat the problem at its root. My goal is to make sure my members feel heard, understood, and receive personalized care. I always make sure we are getting to the root of the problem and I won’t stop working until we find the right solution.
About
After graduating from undergraduate university, I moved from England to the United States. I began working long hours at a law firm, with a long commute to lower Manhattan, and my health seemed to decline by the day! I finally saw a gastroenterologist, who spent maybe 20 minutes with me, asked me zero questions about my diet, and sent me on my way with a $400/month prescription. I was devastated, but also so desperate for a solution. Having grown up with Naturopathic and Chinese Medicine, I knew there had to be a better solution and found a Naturopathic Physician. My first visit with her changed my life! Not only did she diagnose me with Celiac disease, but I realized I had finally discovered what I wanted to do in life! It became my mission to be able to deliver the type of healthcare people need, in the way in which they need it, and to ensure that people who have been overlooked, mismanaged, or misdiagnosed by the conventional medical system have an alternative that will listen and take their concerns seriously.

Why I love being a Physician
I love solving puzzles and I believe that most health conditions can be improved, if not reversed, with the right solution. I love being able to work with people who are eager to regain control over their health and give them the knowledge and tools they need to feel better, live happier, healthier and more fulfilled lives. I love being able to share the tools that changed my life and saved my health.
What I love outside of work
Outside of work, I can be found practicing yoga, hiking, planning my next adventure or just relaxing on the beach with my better half.
Why I work at Wisdom
Wisdom has created a platform that makes Naturopathic and Functional Medicine accessible and affordable. I love working here because it allows me to treat people in the ways I have seen be the most effective, without the constraints of the conventional medical model.

Starting care with Wisdom is now easier than ever with our out-of-state consulting options!
WE SERVE MEMBERS ACROSS THE U.S. in:
OR, CT, HI, TX, OK, AR, MO, IA, WY, IL, IN, OH, NJ, DE, VA, NC, GA, NV, SD, NE, LA, MS, KY, WV, CA
Why not in the other states?
ButtonIn these states, "Naturopathic Doctor" is a legal license and we do not yet employ doctors in these locations:
AK, AZ, CO, ID, KS, ME, MD, MA, MN, MT, NH, NM, ND, PA, RI, UT, VT, WA, and WI. We hope to grow our team in these locations soon!
"Naturopathic Doctor" is an illegal license in AL, FL, SC, & TN. We hope it will be legal soon!
Since lab testing laws in NY make testing options fairly limited, it is often difficult for our members to complete their recommended testing in-state. At Wisdom, testing is our go-to method for uncovering and targeting the root cause(s) of our members' symptoms - so without testing, it becomes less likely that we can honor the quality care experience that we take pride in.
If my Wisdom doctor is licensed in a different state from where I am located, how does this change my care?
ButtonYour care will be just as in-depth and comprehensive as if you were working with a doctor in-state! The only differences:
- Your Wisdom doctor will be legally serving as your consultant. Therefore, they cannot serve as your primary care physician.
- Your Wisdom doctor may need to add a $10 fee to your lab order so that a physician in your state can legally order testing for you.
- Your Wisdom doctor will not be able to prescribe pharmaceutical medication for you. If there is ever a need, we will encourage you to go through a primary care physician near you, or we will happily help you find one.
- You will not legally be qualified to apply to your insurance for possible reimbursement for your Wisdom appointments.
I'm not in a state that Wisdom serves. Are there any options for me?
Yes! You can still work with one of our nutritionists. We also encourage you to reach out to [email protected] or 503-966-9339 to see if we've recently brought on a doctor in your state! We're constantly growing, so we may be able to work with you.
