My Story

I found naturopathic medicine after some of my family members started seeing a naturopathic doctor and saw such amazing results. This encouraged me to see her myself and pursue a career in naturopathic medicine.

Growing up I had always struggled with digestive issues and pain with my period that got gradually worse. Naturopathic medicine allowed me to reach the root cause instead of covering up my symptoms with medications or just ignoring them. I was able to heal through the use of botanicals, micronutrients, and even a few lifestyle shifts.

This is why I feel so passionate about helping women overcome their digestive problems that usually accompany period pain and a past history of birth control use. I have been there myself, feeling like there was no relief in sight, but I came out on the other side, and it’s such an amazing feeling.

Why I love being a Naturopathic Doctor

I love being able to work with my patients to help them improve their life, especially after years of frustrating symptoms. Many of the patients that end up working with naturopathic doctors are here as a “last resort.” They have been to so many doctors, they can’t keep count, and have not found any solutions to their problems. I feel as a naturopathic doctor, I have the tools to finally give answers and relief. One reason why naturopathic medicine is so amazing is because when we investigate deep enough, we end up reaching the root cause. By doing this, my patients can finally move on and live their lives. I help patients feel better, and this was one of the reasons I was so drawn to naturopathic medicine.

Seeing the progress my patient makes is so rewarding. I love seeing this progress and cheering them on as they get to do things they never thought they were going to be able to do.

What I love outside of work

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time with my family and friends, traveling, and being outdoors. I recently got into snowboarding, you can find me on the slopes in the winter. I love to cook, sing, and dance, even though I am no professional, I like to have fun with it.

Why I work at Wisdom

Wisdom has a vision and model for healthcare to allow naturopathic doctors to become more accessible to those who may not always have access to our care. This gives us the ability to reach more people who have been struggling with chronic disease and address the root cause in a way they are able to afford.
